Education to Home
In collaboration with the School Education Department of Madurai District, Tamil Nadu, GHCL Foundation Trust has partnered the initiative “Education To Home” (Evening Study Centre).
Under this initiative, GHCL Foundation Trust supports teachers from the region who organize and coordinate with the students from primary and upper primary classes in their neighbourhood and help them in enhancing their reading, writing and communication skills based on ITK (Illam Thedi Kalvi) syllabus.
To ensure the success of this initiative, the Foundation Trust continuously monitors these classes and has framed an evaluation process.
School Teacher Support
Technology is now an integral part of life and ensuring digital literacy in rural areas is the only way of ensuring their participation in India’s growth story. GHCL Foundation provides support to provide computers and evening tuitions for the rural children.
